Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the hospitality department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
2. Provide guidance, training, and support to the hospitality team, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism.
3. Monitor staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, taking into account busy periods, special events, and staff availability.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services, including food and beverage, housekeeping, and front desk operations.
5. Maintain an organized inventory of supplies, equipment, and materials necessary for the smooth functioning of the hospitality department.
6. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
7. Assist in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new hospitality staff, conducting interviews and providing training as required.
8. Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
9. Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and deliver exceptional service quality.
10. Monitor financial transactions within the department, ensuring accurate billing, cash handling, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
11. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, and implement innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential.
2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
3. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
4. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
5. Sound knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage services, housekeeping, and front desk procedures.
6. Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to the industry.
7. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
9. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
