Job Description

RBS Hotel, a renowned hotel chain in the United Kingdom, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Hotel Manager to lead one of our prestigious hotels in the UK. As a Hotel Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the hotel while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:

    • Oversee all aspects of the hotel’s daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
    • Monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistent service quality.
    • Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and lead by example.
  2. Guest Services:

    • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their stay.
    • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
    • Regularly review guest feedback and take necessary actions to improve guest satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement strategies to attract new guests and enhance guest loyalty.
  3. Staff Management:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse team of hotel staff, promoting a culture of excellence and guest-centric service.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development opportunities.
    • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient scheduling to meet operational demands.
    • Foster effective communication and teamwork among staff members.
  4. Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage the hotel’s budget, closely monitoring expenses and revenue streams.
    • Implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Analyze financial reports, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize financial performance.
    • Implement cost control measures without compromising service quality.
  5. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the hotel.
    • Implement and maintain emergency procedures and protocols.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data.
  • Thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
