Kush Construction Ltd., a leading construction company in Canada, is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Helper to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring their successful completion. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Assist in various construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup.
Follow instructions from the construction team lead and carry out assigned tasks efficiently.
Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment as required.
Clean and maintain construction sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of construction structures.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve project goals.
Adhere to project timelines and assist in meeting project deadlines.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the construction team lead.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset but not required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and perform heavy lifting as needed.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
